Record Number of Daily Payments in NBS IPS System

On April 15, 2020, the number of payments in the NBS IPS system was 98,626, which is a record daily number of transactions registered since the inception of the system, the National Bank of Serbia announced on its website.

The service of instant payments, which is available 24/7/365, was launched on October 22, 2018.

As for March, there were a total of 1,687,124 individual transfers, and the average number of payments per day was 54,423.
