New parking lot for 200 cars on Ada Ciganlija - significant investments announced for year 2010

- Parking lot with about 200 parking places on Ada Ciganlija, in the zone of the Makiš field, will be paved and construction of bicycle path on the Ada's island will be finished in 2010 - Zoran Gajić, the CEO of public company "Ada Ciganlija", told "BeoInfo".

– A skating rink was opened this winter and, since "Ada Ciganlija" bought the necessary equipment, it is going to become a permanent part of Ada during winter seasons. The right bank of the Sava lake, equipped with showers and toilets, will be official opened for the forthcoming bathing season. Trim track, next to the trim park, will be refreshed with new floor, while realization of investments in maintenance of existing fields and other contents will be resumed – said Gajić.

During 2009, new parking places for people with disabilities were built on Ada Ciganlija, all paths and approaches for entrance into the water were adapted, and unique Sports Center was built for the people with disabilities. Construction of the Aqua Sports Center, tennis hall and 470 new parking places were also finished in 2009.
