Jewelry with real plants

An Icelandic designer has made the rings with real growing plants that need watering to survive longer.

Hafsteinn Juliusson (23) from Iceland got the idea to launch "ecological" collection of rings with built-in miniature pots with real plants instead of precious stones, crystall and hyacinths.

This designer claims that it is a perfect combination of jewelry and gardening and that his rings with Icelandic moss will be the real hit this year.

- The plants that grow in the rings must be watered and trimmed just like any other plants, and they can survive up to six months if nurtured as they should be - Juliusson claims.

He says that his wish is to bring the nature closer to the people who does not have time to grow plants.

Each ring with planted moss will cost about 550 EUR.
