Galenika Ready for Production of Hydroxychloroquine

Galenika Beograd, with the help of all the necessary expert knowledge secured thanks to its parent company EMS from Brazil, has the technology for the production of hydroxychloroquine, Ricardo Vian Marques, the General Manager of Galenika a.d. Beograd, stated for Novosti.

He said that, to that end, they were following closely the efforts and the instruction of the Government of Serbia and the competent health institutions regarding the realization of the production of this medicine.

More precisely, they are waiting for the French president, Emmanuel Macron, to respond to the plea of the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, to help Serbia procure 50 kilograms of the substance for the production, which could be provided by Sanofi Pasteur, if it has reserves.

The pharma factory confirmed for Novosti this Friday that, from the moment the substance, which they had unsuccessfully tried to find themselves, arrives, they could produce the medicine in seven days.
