The European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP), which is realized through the EU Program for the Competitiveness of Enterprises and SME (COSME), has launched a new portal in order to meet the challenges of COVID-19.

The portal aims to connect companies and industrial clusters throughout Europe in order to enable quick and direct exchange of information and respond to the demand and requests in this new situation, the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia announced.

In the European Union, clusters, with their members, especially SMEs, play an important role in managing the health crisis and are considered key actors in solving the problem, the CCIS says.

Companies and clusters form Serbia can participate on an equal footing with clusters from the EU in the platform, and 23 clusters from Serbia have successfully participated in the realization of numerous projects in all sectors of the industry in the past period – emphasizes the head of the Center for EU integration of the CCIS, Jovana Stanojevic.

More than 1,100 offers for the production of medical products have already been sent through the cluster, and the members of the platform can also share their experiences, advice and information through a forum.
