Company "Mona" ends the year of the worst economic crisis with 60 retail facilities in its possession, 5 more than they had. Starting this year, jackets, purses and dresses "mona" will be available to buyers in Slovenia, Croatia, Belarus and Romania.
Đorđe Momirović, the owner and CEO of "Mona", is satisfied because his company will reach the level of production from year 2008 in the year when the demand dropped drastically.
He told "Novosti" that they had turned to foreign markets.
- So far, we have opened four companies abroad - in Slovenia, Croatia, Belarus and Romania. We are active in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Macedonia for ten years. We are doing our best to offer our products to all CEFTA countries - said he.
Speaking of the results in new markets, he said that the company was going to open the second store in Belarus.
- We are well-received in Croatia. We have the store in Zagreb and we are about to open our second store in Rijeka. We are present in Bucharest and Timisoara in Romania. The company has three stores in Sarajevo, all of which operate excellently. The most difficult situation is in Slovenia.
Momirović announced expansion of business to Bulgaria and Hungary in 2010.
- We are already working on that. These are the neighboring countries, the buyers are similar and have similar needs.
