"Zekstra" became majority owner of "Šumadija"

Company "Zekstra" took over 64% of Belgrade-based company "Šumadija", which trades in office equipment, supplies and paper.

At the beginning of December, "Zekstra" announced the bid for takeover of 51,820 stocks of "Šumadija", that is, 68.7%, at the price of 780 RSD per stock. The bid was closed few days ago and "Zekstra" took over 48,296 stocks or 64.04% of "Šumadija".

In 2008, "Šumadija" registered business incomes of 114.9m RSD and net profit of 814,000 RSD.

Trading in the stocks of "Šumadija" on the Belgrade Stock Exchange started at the end of May 2004. At the moment, that security costs 700 RSD, which is also its this year's minimum, while this year's maximum value of 2,100 RSD was registered in May.
