Marina "Bar" sold for 2.2m EUR - "Multi capital marina" now owns 54.3%

Consortium "Multi capital marina" from Lithuania and Letonia became the new owner of marina "Bar" yesterday (December 29, 2009), after purchasing 54.3% of stocks from the state and its funds for 2.2m EUR.

The representatives of Montenegrin Government signed the sales contract with that company, as well as the contract for allotment of concessions on the period of 30 years.

The Minister of Transportation of Serbia, Andrija Lompar, said at the press conference that Lithuanian-Letonian consortium was obliged to pay the money for the stocks within seven days, and he also said that the management of the consortium had provided the guarantees that the money would be paid on time.

Consortium "Multi capital marina" is bound by the contract to invest 12.2m EUR in the Bar-based port. Realization will start as soon as the spatial plan for the marina is adopted.
