Account for Aid to Italy in Fighting Coronavirus

In this dramatic moment for Italy, which is heavily affected by the coronavirus pandemic, the Serbian people have shown great solidarity with our country by offering help, messages, video recordings, music and poetry, the Embassy of Italy in Belgrade has announced.


Italian Ambassador to Serbia Carlo Lo Cascio wishes to express honest gratitude to Serbian friends “for uncountable examples of brotherly friendship and genuine compassion, which prove that the relations between our two nations are based on deep emotions”, the ambassador said.

– In the past days, many have asked us in which ways they can express their support to Italy, the staff and the medical institutions which are facing this difficult challenge. We want to inform all those who want to contribute to fighting coronavirus that the Civil Protection Office has opened a current account at the bank for that purpose – the Embassy of Italy has announced.

Donations can be paid to the account from Italy or abroad. The details are as follows:
