Bids invited for design for Belgrade-Zrenjanin highway – Twelve interchanges and four bridges on “Vojvodina P” route

The Belgrade office of the China Shandong International Economic & Technical company has opened a tender for the preliminary design of the Belgrade-Zrenjanin-Novi Sad highway.

The plan is for the route to feature 12 interchanges, three bridges and one railway bridge.

Bids may be submitted by April 15, 2020. More about the tender can be found HERE.

– Connecting Zrenjanin with Novi Sad and Belgrade by highway will make the traffic between these three cities faster and safer and more safely connect the entire northern, eastern and central Banat with Belgrade and the administrative center of Vojvodina. At the moment, the realization of the project is in the phase of the preparation of the project task, which entails choosing the optimal route, especially for the Belgrade-Zrenjanin direction, and defining the project task for the preparation of the special purpose area plan. After that, the preparation of the project-technical documentation is to start – the Ministry of Transport specified the details of this project earlier.
