(Marko Cadez) The president of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, Marko Cadez, has said that the state is talking to private companies in order to find a solution for helping them in the current situation, but also appealed to them to be responsible to their employees.

Cadez says that there are no layoffs in the private sector, that there may be individual incidents and that employees can report such employers to the inspection service and seek legal help.

Regarding the measures taken toward reducing the economic consequences of coronavirus and securing sufficient amounts of goods in the market, Cadez reminded on TV Prva about the restricted export of medical drugs and the ban on the export of vital supplies.

– There's enough flour, sugar and oil that we can practically help the neighboring countries if needed. That's why it's important that these measures have been implemented – Cadez said and added that the impact of the virus on the economy depends on global developments and our own conducts as well.

Cadez said that everyone who can work from home should and that these employees are not treated as if they were on a sick leave.
