For sports lovers in Arilje - two-floor hall in central park starting March 2010

Arilje is going to get its first sports hall, of which construction commenced in 2004, in March 2010. About 147m RSD have been invested in that facility at 2,800 square meters. The money for the hall, which satisfies FIBA standards, was provided from the municipal budget, NIP and the Ministry of Youth and Sport.
- The hall is intended for handball, basketball and volleyball, while auxiliary premises and the premises for gymnastics, gym, fitness and ping pong will be situated on the second floor. The stands are fixed and they have 500 seats, while the floodlights are designed for live TV broadcasts. The hall will have a modern vent system, it will use gas for heating, and it is situated in the city park, in the vicinity of the city center.
Construction of the hall, the project for which was elaborated by "Aero Inženjering", went through three phases. The money for the first phase - 54m RSD, was provided by the Ministry of Youth and Srort and the municipality of Arilje in 2004. The National Investment Plan set aside 77m RSD in 2006 for the second phase, while another 16m RSD were provided by NIP in 2009 for the works from the final phase.
The main contractors are "Progres" from Arilje, "Graditelj" from Ivanjica and "Progres Slovan" from Selenča.
