Chamber of Commerce of Serbia granted "Best of Serbia" awards for year 2009

The Chamber of Commerce of Serbia granted "Best of Serbia" awards for year 2009 on December 22nd.

The awards for the best brand were granted to company "Bambi Banat" ("plazma") in the category of everyday consumer goods, Sombor-based Car Battery Factory ("Black Horse") in the category of long-lasting consumer goods, and "Jeep Commerce" (seamed steel tubing) in the category of production goods.

In the category of the best local brand, the award went to "Global" from Užice for brand "Stara sokolova", while young cheese of Šabac-based concern "Farmakom MD" won the award for the most successful innovation.

"Carnex" from Vrbas won the award for the corporate brand in the category of everyday consumer goods, while the same award in the category of long-lasting consumer goods went to "Simpo" from Vranje. In the category of production goods, the award was granted to "Peštan" from Bukovik for brand "peštan", while Free Zone Pirot won the award for the best corporate brand in the category of production services for the namesake brand.

"Delta Maxi" won the award for corporate brand in the category of services and catering companies, the Belgrade Fair was granted the award for the trade fair manifestation brand, while the award for the best brand in the category of small catering enterprises went to Belgrade-based general hospital "Bel Medic".

In the category of the best foreign corporate brand, the award was granted to "Messer Tehnogas", while "tuborg" beer of company "Carlsberg Srbija" from Čelarevo won the title of the best foreign brand with the status of domestic product.

In the category of public companies and enterprises with significant share of the government ownership, the awards went to Transportation company "Lasta" from Belgrade and the National Lottery of Serbia.

The best economic event in Serbia is the Central Committee of the International Conference of Agrarian Banks, organized by PB Agrobanka Belgrade. The statue for the best personal brand in the function of promotion of Serbia was awarded to Novak Đoković.
