Fiat employees on paid leave until March 27

The employees at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) Serbia will be on a paid leave until March 27, the company decided, as a measure of prevention of the spreading of coronavirus, the factory's Autonomous Union said.


The president of the union, Zoran Markovic, told Beta that the company's decision had been made in line with the decisions of the Government of Serbia and market demands, to the end of reducing the risk of the spreading of the virus.

The employees of FCA in Kragujevac are on a paid leave since Friday and were supposed to go back to their jobs on Tuesday. On March 16, 2020, the company adopted a new decision, by which FCA will not work until March 27.
