Ski Resorts of Serbia open tender for construction of Brzece-Mali Karaman gondola – Bids to be submitted by March 23

The Public Enterprise Ski Resorts of Serbia has opened the tender for the construction of the Brzece-Mali Karaman gondola system with the accompanying infrastructure, to be carried out as a turnkey project.

The draft amendments to a part of the General Regulation Plan for the Brzece settlement on Kopaonik, which eKapija recently presented, entail the construction of the long awaited gondola, which would vertically connect this tourist location with the center of Kopaonik.

The tender pertains to the delivery of a gondola system between Brzeca (Bela reka) and Mali Karaman, with cabins for 10 people and the accompanying stations and a ski track, which entails the preparation of all the necessary technical documentation and construction.

The route, according to the documentation, will be 3,741 meters long.

The initial capacity should be 1,600 people an hour, at the speed of 6 m/s, and the possibility of expansion to the maximum capacity of 2,400 people an hour should be included. The gondola should be able to transport skis, snowboards and mountain bikes.

The project includes all the side works on the disassembly of the entire system of two-seat ski-lifts Bela reka 1 and Bela reka 2 and the planning of the costs of the preparation of the technical documentation for the further development of the ski resort, with the installation of the gondola, namely, projects of snowing for the new ski track and for the existing tracks Bela reka 1 and Bela reka 2.

According to the decision adopted by the Government of Serbia on February 20, the construction of the gondola has been recognized as a project of special importance for the Republic of Serbia.

The deadline period for the construction of the gondola system with the side structures is 365 days, whereas the deadline period for the construction of the ski track is 120 days from the date of the registration of the works and the issuing of the confirmation of the registration.

The documentation says that one bidder can make only one bid, which must be written in Serbian.

Bids may be submitted by March 23, at noon. The opening of the bids is carried out immediately after the expiration of the bid submission deadline, on the same date, at 12.30 pm, at the procuring entity's address.
