Metro announced expansion of retail network and new job positions

German company Metro Cash Carry has announced expansion of operations on Serbia’s market, so that it will have three wholesale centers until the end of the year, whereas the number of employees, which amounted to about 400 people at the beginning of January, will be doubled.

About 400 people apply for one job position in Metro and the interest is somewhat bigger in administration jobs. Due to company’s specific field of activities, on Serbia’s, as well as on other markets, there are not personnel who are ready to work right away, so that Metro developed internal education system where new colleagues learn from the their senior experienced colleagues. Metro announces further expansion on Serbia’s market next year, which is a new chance for employment of ambitious personnel.
