A sports-recreation center with indoor and outdoor swimming pools, aqua park with hot water, wellness center, rooms for massage with medicinal mud, sea water, jakuzzi baths, saunas, tanning beds, hotel and other contents has been opened next to Petrovac-Žagubica road, in the vicinity of settlement Ždrelo. Investor Dragiša Milojević, former guest worker, invested 1m EUR in construction of facilities, and about 30 people are going to get jobs in that center.
- Everything was done with the funds of my family, that is, no loan has been taken for this purpose. Everything you see here was built according to the latest technology, and it should be competitive to similar facilities within next twenty years or so. The proof that the interest is big is the fact that all seats for the New Year's Eve have been sold out - Milojević points out.
Dobrivoje Petrović, the CEO of company "Milojević", says that everything was built of natural materials, stone and wood, and that all facilities have floor heating system, which utilizes subterranean hot water.
- This aqua park is unique in Serbia because it can be used in both summer and winter. It comprises both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, as well as pool with sea water. We also have so-called "mud bath" where people will be able to use the mud brought from Igalo. There is a wellness center with the rooms for massage, jakuzzi baths, sauna, bathrooms for priests and people who suffered from some disease and do not want to be exposed to the views of other people. This thermo-mineral water helps in treatment of psoriasis and other skin and rheumatic diseases and pains. When chilled, it can be used in treatment of gastritis. The courts and fields for tennis, basketball, handball, volleyball, mini football are all around the complex. There is a balcony for nudists on the top of the facility, and it can be reached by elevator. There are about 40 beds in the accommodation section of the complex. Daily ticket for all this costs 250 RSD, and those who decide to rent a suite here will pay 5,000 RSD per day - Petrović explains.
Physicist Snežana Petković points out that all guests will have medical supervision and that they can bring their medical files with them.
