Igor Anic joined the ProCredit team in 2005. His long career at the bank has seen him take various positions, from the Controlling Department, through the leading position at the Internal Services Department, to the position of a member of the bank's Executive Board, which Igor Anic joined in June 2011, the bank announced.
– ProCredit Bank is now one of the leading banks for supporting small and medium enterprises and agriculture in Serbia, but also a bank which is a pioneer in implementing new technologies in banking, both in the retail sector and the commercial sector. Traditionally, our bank takes part in numerous attractive programs of crediting small and medium enterprises each year. Furthermore, ProCredit Bank actively promotes investments in renewable energy sources and projects which aim to save energy and preserve the environment. Our rolling stock now features around 70% electric and hybrid vehicles, we recently put the solar plant on the roof our our headquarters in Belgrade into operation, and we are also the first company in Serbia to get a guarantee from EPS that all the power we consume is produced exclusively from RES – Anic pointed out.
According to him, ProCredit Bank will continue investing in and supporting SMEs and farms in Serbia and developing its digital services in 2020.
– The plan is to make all our banking services as simple and flexible to use. Our bank has already made great progress in that sense, and we will further improve the digitization of our services in 2020. Very soon, people will no longer have to come to our branch offices to open an account or get any other banking service. This way, ProCredit Bank will ensure that the entire Serbia is covered by our digital services, whereby we will confirm our pioneering role in developing digital banking in the local market – Anic concluded.
