"Ikarbus" and "Breda menarinibus" postponed signing of contract

Signing of the contract on business-technical cooperation between Belgrade-based bus factory "Ikarbus" and Italian company "Breda menarinibus" has been postponed until January 20th because some technical details need to be agreed.

The CEO of company "Breda menarinibus", Roberto Ćeraudo, said on the occasion of his tour of "Ikarbus" that 80% of the contract had been agreed, but that there had not been enough time for some technical details to be agreed.

Ćeraudo said that the draft contract would be signed on December 21st, 2009, between "Breda menarinibus", "Ikarbus" and the mediator - company "Interfer export".

According to the contract on business-technical cooperation, Italian "Breda menarinibus" should rent Belgrade-based "Ikarbus" on the period of two years and assemble between 250 and 300 buses per year, which should require engagement of about 300 workers.
