Auction for sale of Loznica-based company "Enikon" canceled

The Privatization Agency has canceled the first auction for sale of Loznica-based architectural, engineering, production, assembling and trade company "Enikon", which was scheduled for December 11th.

That company was offered for sale at the starting price of 8.2m RSD, and total estimated value of 70% of capital that was supposed to be privatized is 41.4m RSD. The company has 87 workers.

Not one company from Loznica was privatized in 2009 and, besides this auction, there were no other scheduled auctions for sale of companies from Loznica.

According to the data provided by the Loznica-based Office of the Regional Chamber of Commerce Valjevo, total of 19 public companies have been privatized in Loznica to the date, four of which were privatized according to the old Law on Privatization.

"Projektinvest", "Enikon", Special Rehabilitation Hospital "Banja Koviljača" and the namesake hotel-tourist company are expected to be privatized in the following period.

Privatization on this territory did not give expected results because the companies that operate successfully with new owners are extremely rare.
