Energotrade from Belgrade and Hungarian Tungsram found joint company for public lighting – Smart Lights provides guarantees of EU origin and client support

The Belgrade-based company Energotrade has expanded cooperation with a renowned world producer of lighting, the Hungarian Tungsram, to the field of public lighting equipment by founding the joint company Smart Lights doo Beograd.

– The expansion of the cooperation follows after 20 years of exclusive importing and representation of the Tungsram lighting products for the consumer sector. The cooperation also covers two decades of close cooperation with the Budapest headquarters, the regional management team and the LED lighting factory and project development center in Nagykanizsa, which, among other things, have been in charge of all the innovations in the global lighting program of the American company General Electric in this period – the Belgrade company points out.

They add that this has provided all users of public lighting in Serbia with a European guarantee of equipment quality and the support of the project development studio of Tungsram, located a four hour's drive away from Belgrade.
