Exhibition "Applied Nostalgia" has been opened in Youth Center in Belgrade in association with the Cultural Attache of the Embassy of the kingdom of Sweden to Belgrade and the Cabinet of the Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia Božidar Đelić to honor the end of Swedish European Union presidency. The exhibition will be open prior to December 30th.
The "Applied Nostalgia" project is conceived as a series of joint exhibitions of photographs by two eminent photographers - one from Serbia and one from the country that presides the EU. Since the kingdom of Sweden presides the EU in the period July 1st - December 31st, 2009, Stockholm will be the fourth city in Europe, after Lisbon, Paris and Prague, that the citizens of Serbia will be able to see in a special way.
