The Tax Administration has determined the amount that will be paid by public company "Putevi Srbije" to the owners of land on the route of the bypass around Belgrade, from Batajnica to Dobanovci. Zoran Drobnjak, the Director General of "Putevi", told "Novosti" that agricultural land would be purchased at the price of 1,500 to 2,000 RSD per square meter, while between 2,500 and 3,000 RSD would be paid per square meter of building land.

- This is the price that will be the same for all owners of parcels on the route of the bypass and there will be no further negotiations - Drobnjak points out.

The loan of 115m EUR has been granted for construction of the bypass from Batajnica to Dobanovci. In order to withdraw that money, Serbia must first finish expropriation, which will be completed prior to March 1st, 2010.

Owners

Part of the land of about 17 ha is in the possession of two agencies - "Taurunum" and "Rang nekretnine", and company "MC&N". Also, another 18 small private owners have been identified, and they own total of about 33 ha of land. The owner of the remaining land is the state through companies "Serbian Railways", Waterpower engineering company "Galovica" and Agricultural Industrial Combine (PIK) "Zemun".
