Delegation of Rail Cluster for South-East Europe visiting Saxony

A delegation of the Rail Cluster for South-East Europe is visiting the German state of Saxony from February 25 to 28. The delegation consists of a total of 17 representatives of 14 companies, organizations and institutions, mostly from the Balkans region, who will spend four days in Berlin, Leipzig, Dresden and Chemnitz.

On this occasion, they are visiting the facilities of six companies from Saxony, namely: Deutsche Bahn (DB), Bombardier, RailMaint, HeiterBlick, Hörmann Vehicle Engineering and Dresdner Verkehrsbetriebe (DVB).

Furthermore, they are actively participating in two B2B meetings and a workshop organized by the DB Vehicle and Technology Center.

On the first day, the delegation was hosted by BTS Rail Saxony, and the meeting has gained considerable support from the Development Agency of Saxony (Wirtschaftsförderung Sachsen), also the organizer of this B2B meeting.

The companies, organization and institutions represented within this visit are: Business Support Network (BSN), Rail Directorate of the Republic of Serbia, Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences in Zagreb, Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering in Belgrade, and companies Encode d.o.o., Minel General Electric, Techco Electrics and Perfom d.o.o. (all from Serbia), Oilco KDA (North Macedonia), GVO d.o.o. (Slovenia), Tech Co GmbH (Austria), Database & Technology (Italy) and KST Lighting (Belgium).

Participation of over 120 companies, faculties and business associations from Saxony has been announced.
