Hristo Krušarski was appointed as the new Director General of "Trayal" corporation on Friday (December 11, 2009) by the decision of the company's Administrative Board.
Krušarski replaced Petar Krastev in that position, and he is the sixth CEO of "Trayal" since it was sold to Bulgarian company "Brikel" for about 12m EUR in November 2006.
Before making this decision, the company's assembly also changed the structure of the Administrative Board, which is now led by Aleksandar Ličev.
"Trayal" has 2,400 employees and it is the factory with the largest number of workers in Kruševac.
One month ago, the employees went on one-month strike and asked that the company's management sign the protocol on payment of late salaries, deadlines for commencement of production and fulfillment of investment obligations with the factory's trade union, the representatives of the City Administration of Kruševac, the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development and the Privatization Agency, which resulted in success.
According to the sales contract, the majority owner promised to invest 25m EUR in "Trayal" within the first five years, while the investments by the end of the year should reach the amount of 9.5m EUR.
