Knauf Insulation celebrates 15th anniversary in Serbia

One of the leading producers of thermal insulation systems and solutions, Knauf Insulation, is celebrating its 15th anniversary in Serbia this year. The mineral wool factory in Surdulica, built in 1974, has been part of this international company since 2005. Since then, the production capacities have increased multiple times and mineral wool from the south of Serbia is now exported to the markets of Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Albania, North Macedonia, Montenegro and occasionally to other countries, in addition to being sold in the local market.

In addition to producing and selling mineral wool, the company has become prominent in the field of heating and sound insulation and fire protection in the past 15 years as well. Through a constant improvement of processes and products they've introduced the unique Ecose technology to the Serbian market – a revolutionary innovation in the industry of mineral wool products, which contributes to product sustainability. They've developed a range of software and online tools promoting energy efficiency and sound protection, facilitating the choosing of materials for designers, installers and end-users.

The campaign called NATURE.INNOVATION.INSULATION, which they've launched on the occasion of their 15th anniversary in Serbia, aims to highlight the natural origins of the Knauf Insulation mineral wool materials, their quality, strength and universality.
