Croatian company "Lecotech" to move part of production of units and equipment for ecology to Serbia in early 2010

As "eKapija" learns, Croatian company "Lecotech", which deals with production of units and equipment for ecology sector, is going to move part of its production to Belgrade at the beginning of year 2010.
According to the words of CEO Luka Iličić, that decision was made after the company's successful participation in the International Environment Protection Fair "Ecofair 2009" (October 14-16, 2009) in Belgrade and numerous contacts established with local entrepreneurs.
Company "Legotech" from Štefanje produces equipment for collecting and transporting non-dangerous waste, equipment for recycling yards, the line of products for classification of waste, industrial safety equipment, as well as equipment for internal transportation and storing.
One of the results of the contacts that the company made at the Fair is the delivery of the first product to Serbian market that has been realized recently. Namely, "Lecotech" has delivered the separator for separation of oil in wastewater treatment to company "Maber" from Pančevo.
People from "Legotech" announce that they will soon expand the production by introducing the line of products intended for air protection.
The arrival in Serbian market can also be seen as a part of the successfully implemented project "Phare 2006", which was realized by the company in several fields. Namely, it is the project that has been granted non-refundable funds from the IPA Fund. The value of the project is 105,000 EUR, 28% of which have been financed by the company, while the rest was provided by European Union through aforementioned Fund.
The funds were used for certification of products according to ISO standards 9001 and 14001, introduction of 3D modelling software, attesting of all products (that is how the products got so-called C mark, which is necessary for export), series of internal trainings for employees, as well as the tests related to appearance in the markets of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia.
- This year we participated in the specialized ecological fairs in Zagreb, Bjelovar, Brčko, Tuzla and Belgrade, and I can say that I liked it the most in Belgrade. I was pleasantly surprised with the organizers' professionalism - Luka Iličić told "eKapija".
The company currently exports two thirds of products, mainly to Italy and Austria, and it has recently started export to the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The company also plans to enter the market of Macedonia, which should be receiving the goods from the future units in Serbia.
