Serbia becoming new largest trade partner of B&H

For years, Germany has been the largest trade partner of B&H, and it has kept the position of the largest exporter and importer in B&H if looking at the entire year 2019.

However, slowly, but surely, observed by months, Germany was losing this position in late 2019. In December, the exports from B&H to Germany amounted to around EUR 50 million, around 30% less than in November.

In the same month, B&H exported the most goods to Serbia, amounting to around EUR 60 million, which is 16% more than in November. This means that Serbia has taken the lead from Germany, becoming the largest exporting market for the goods from B&H.
