Vorwerk factory in Preljina to open on March 25 – 1,000 new jobs

As RINA learns, the Vorwerk factory in Preljina, which will produce components for the automotive industry, will be opened on March 25. This is an enormous industrial complex, where 1,000 workers will be employed.

Around 150 employees from Cacak are already working there in the initial phase, whereas the employments will intensify in the upcoming period in line with the company's needs.

The City of Cacak has invested several million euros in the construction of the utility infrastructure, electrical installations, roads, phone and internet lines have been set up, and the land where the huge factory is located was given for free for a certain period of time.

The average salary will be around EUR 500, and the investment is worth more than EUR 50 million.
