Unique pumpkin products in Novo Milosevo – JS&O exporting virgin oil to Western Europe

The Novo Milosevo-based company JS&O, which makes unique pumpkin products, is presenting a new investment in the Serbian market.

The company's director, Aleksandar Jeric, points out that JS&O produces high-quality virgin oil from pumpkin seeds under the Olga brand, featuring nutritional, medical and cosmetic qualities.

Jeric has announced that the production program will be expanded in the upcoming period to include all the products that can be derived from the pumpkin seed.

As he explains, the idea is to bring this product category to the Serbian market, where it used to be very popular once.

– At the moment, due to the factory's capacity and the number of employees, more than 90% of what's produced will be exported to Austria, Italy, Germany, Switzerland and France, where this sort of product is consumed on a daily basis – Jeric said.

The factory was visited by the Minister of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Policy of Serbia, Zoran Djordjevic, who said that this sort of product once needed to be imported, whereas now it was produced in the country.
