Austrian BMO seeks suppliers from Serbia - meeting of Austrian and German buyers with Serbian entrepreneurs

Business meeting between seven Austrian and German companies and 30 Serbian suppliers from the sector of metal-processing, processing and mechanical industry was organized today (December 2nd, 2009) in hotel "Zira" in Belgrade with the aim of improving cooperation and stimulating export.
Foreign companies, which will be presented in Belgrade, are: BBG, the manufacturer of agricultural machines, BMTI, the manufacturer of metal structure, and "Ferro", which deals with industrial installations. The meeting will also be attended by "Hoffman&Co", "NGR", "Umdasch" and "Wittura".
The initiators of the whole-day meeting are the Investment and Export Promotion Agency of Serbia (SIEPA) and BMO organization, which was founded by Austrian and German companies with the aim of their joint search for suppliers of parts, components or services around the world.
Austrian BMO gathers over 300 companies, including renowned companies such as "Magna Steyr" and "Siemens".
According to Bojan Janković, the Deputy CEO of SIEPA, the companies that came to negotiate with potential Serbian partners today are seeking suppliers and business associates that operate under appropriate standards. According to him, the companies were discussing technical details earlier, and they will be able to negotiate on concrete businesses today.
Georg Pein, the CEO of BMO organization, said that the process of searching and finding partners was long one and that that organization was also trying to find suppliers in Czech Republic, Hungary, Bulgaria and Romania.
The meeting with foreign companies will be attended by "Zastava Kovačnica", "Mecafor products", "Termometal", "Unimet", "Poliform", "Krušik precizni liv", "Topola Livara", EM DIP Niš, "Novimetal", SANVI, UNIMETAL, FEMAN.
Other companies that have confirmed their participation are "EvroBrod", "Tehnoserv", "Metech", UTVA MP, "Mitrašinović", "Agromehanika", "Matalurg", MEGGA, "JEEP Commerce", "Metalac".
Foreign companies will also meet and negotiate with the representatives of "Master Inženjering", "Almag", "Radijator Inženjering", "Delta Filter", RPC Pešović, MI-JO, IVA 28, "Maestro Company", "Progress", "Spajić, "Agroline", Dva D Trade, AMIGA, EM DIP PRO TEAM, "Ming".
The companies expect these meetings to result in concrete contracts within the next six months.
