Romania suggests construction of hydroelectric power plant on the Danube

Romanian power company "Hidroelectrica" has asked Serbian side for the opinion about joint construction of Romanian-Bulgarian hydroelectric power plant on the Danube, and our country should decide prior to May 2010, at the latest, if it wants to join implementation of that project.

- We are informed on these projects, but we need time to examine them - said Dragomir Marković, the Director General of "Electric Power Company of Serbia".
