Study on most profitable investments in Vojvodina's agribusiness - cooperation between VIP Fund and Austrian Development Agency

The Vojvodina Investment Promotion Fund (VIP Fund) has started elaboration of the study that should identify investment potentials in the agribusiness sector of that province.

The CEO of VIP Fund, Branislav Bugarski, told "eKapija" that the study was being prepared in association with Austrian Development Agency - ADA, which also financed its elaboration.

He said that he hoped that, in association with the colleagues from the faculties of agriculture in Novi Sad and Belgrade and other expert public, "VIP Fund will manage to prepare a document that will accurately reflect the situation in agribusiness sector".

Bugarski announced that the study would be presented in March 2010, when the public would learn where and how to invest in the agrarian sector of Vojvodina.

Financing of the study is a part of the programme of the donation by Austrian Government.

- That is a part of bilateral cooperation between the Executive Council of Vojvodina and Austrian Government, which has provided 5m EUR for several projects, and this is only a small segment of that broader cooperation – Bugarski told "eKapija" at the first Economic Forum "Bačka 09" in Kula.
