Pancevo waterworks to expand – Tender for preparation of project-technical documentation opens

The PUE Vodovod i kanalizacija Pancevo has opened the public procurement procedure for the preparation of the project-technical documentation for the reconstruction and construction of waterworks.

The project-technical documentation must be prepared so as to serve as the basis for the obtaining of a decision on the approval of the works from the competent organs, the reporting of the beginning of the works and the obtaining of the exploitation permit.

The construction of the water system of Pancevo began in 1961. So far, over 120,000 residents have been connected to the system, and the total length of the waterworks amounts to around 482 km, of which 188 km is the length of the waterworks in the city itself, whereas the rest is located in the suburban areas.

As said in the documentation, the majority of the system was built around 1965.

The project-technical documentation needs to be prepared for the following locations: the Utva Airport, Vojlovica, the Stanko neighborhood, the Pepeljare neighborhood and Cara Dusana, Svetog Save, Marka Kraljevica and Vojvode Radomira Putnika streets.

The total length of the waterworks for which the project-technical documentation is to be prepared is around 24,200 meters.

The bid submission deadline is February 21, 2020.
