Vinoteka's 30th anniversary - first specialized wine store in Belgrade celebrates big jubilee

The oldest wine store on the territory of former Yugoslavia, situated in the center of Belgrade, in Makedonska Street, will celebrate its 30th anniversary of continuous work this week.
In that specialized wine store, "Delta maxi" offers the citizens of Belgrade over 400 wines from all around the world, as well as the possibility to learn something about that drink.
The bottles of "Cabernet", "Merlot", "Riesling", "Chauvignon" and "Chardonnay" are carefully arranged on the shelves. While the customers are entering the store, seller Ljubiša Kuzmanović, who works here since 1979, remembers how he run that store in that same location, but in four different countries and under 10 different mayors, and how the "strongholds" of Belgrade's bohemian quarter - "Šumatovac", "Lipa" and "Grmeč" - entered the legend from this very street.
The store shines from the glimmer on the bottles from wine cellars "Jelić", "Ivanović", "Spasić", "Aleksandrović", "Radovanović"...
The most expensive wine in the store is the crown of sparkling wines - champagne "Dom Perignon", of which price exceeds 14,000 RSD.
