Morava Airport included in Serbia 2025 investment programme

The Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Transport, Construction and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic stated that Serbia 2025 investment plan proposes for RSD 9 billion out of total EUR 14 billion to be put into transport infrastructure,

She said that they plan to subsidize air transport as well. They will focus on investing into the Morava Airport where a new runway will be built this year.

Mihajlovic said that the majority of funds, around EUR 5 billion, were going toward road infrastructure.

– More than EUR 3,5 billion will be invested into the railway system and around EUR 274 million is going toward water transport, the Minister said.
