The Minister of Mining and Energy of Serbia, Aleksandar Antic, stated today that the oscillations in the price of oil in the world markets, caused by the relations of Iran and the United States of America, would not cause the prices of oil products or other energy sources and heating in Serbia to go up.

– There is no reason for the prices of oil products and other energy sources to increase – Antic said on TV Pink and added that the price of oil had stabilized in the world markets.

He emphasized that the heating plants in the country had enough energy sources, that the heating was stable and that the Banatski Dvor gas storage was full, holding over 500 million cubic meters of gas.

Antic also said that the situation regarding mazut and coal was stable as well and that Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS) had more than a million and a half tons of coal.
