"Danos" and SIEPA together at Investment Forum in Nicosia

- Under the patronage of the Chamber of Commerce of Cyprus, "Marfin Laiki Group" and Cypriot-Serbian Business Forum, the meeting between Cypriot entrepreneurs and Serbian delegation, which comprised the representatives of SIEPA, consulting company "Danos" and tax, audit and legal company "Eurofast", was held on November 4th in the premises of the "Laiki" center in Nicosia - "Danos" announced.

In its introductory speech, the President of the Forum, Christoforos Stylianides, greeted all the present, while the investment potentials of Serbia were later presented by the representatives of SIEPA. Darko Đukić focused on the general investment climate in Serbia, as well as the possibilities of development of renewable energy, while the other two representatives of the Agency, Marko Zelenović and Dragan Pejčić, presented the potentials of agrarian sector, as well as the investment opportunities in the real estate and tourism sectors of Serbia.

After that, the guests were addressed by the CEO of Belgrade-based office of "Danos and Associates", Jovan Jovanović, who presented the analysis of general economic and investment climate in 2009 for each of the individual sectors. Special accent was placed on the current investment potentials, thanks to which, in spite of the financial crisis, Serbia is still positioned as an attractive destination for investments in the unsaturated sectors of the real estate market.

The closing address was given by Tasos Topalis, a representative of "Eurofast", and he said that all the preconditions that a foreign investor must meet in order to ensure and completely realize the investment potential in general, and in specific economic moment such as this one in particular, had been presented in a very precise manner.
