Tehnohemija sold for EUR 3.9 million – SCOM Feketic buys 46.8% stake

The Feketic-based company SCOM has bought 46.8% of the shares of the Belgrade-based company Tehnohemija for EUR 3,883,705, the Ministry of Economy announced.

Within the set of 480,326 shares of Tehnohemija bought by SCOM, most shares, 433,113, were owned by the Shares Register, followed by the Republic of Serbia with over 35,000 shares, the Ministry of Defense, as well as seven other shareholders, including three towns, Valjevo, Nis and Pancevo.

As said in the press release, the documentation had been bought out by the Belgrade-based company Srbija Autoput as well, but they didn't make a bid for the purchase of shares.

Let us remind that Tehnohemija is registered as a chemical and technical goods company, and the data from the Central Securities Depository show that 36.8% of the company's shares are owned by natural persons.

The company was founded back in 1951 as an industrial service for individual protection equipment and hydro-insulation.

For decades, it has been considered a leading supplier for the building, metal and textile industries, stores and public companies.

The sale tender opened on October 4, 2019.
