The fire that broke out in Automobile Factory in Kragujevac did not discontinue the negotiations between the representatives of "Fiat automobili Srbija" and the accompanying industry of Serbia, so that it is now for certain that seven local companies will be producing parts for "punto".

"Trayal" from Kruševac, which produces tires, has already entered the cooperation process, while the jacks will be produced in company "Promotor irva" in Kragujevac.

The car batteries made in Sombor have passed Fiat's test. Company TPV "Šumadija" will be producing certain parts for engines, while the company from Surdulica will be delivering electric motors for screen wipers and glass lifters. The list of partner companies also includes "Tigar" and Kikinda-based Foundry.

According to the words of Zoran Radojević, the Director General of "Zastava vozila" Group, over 10,000 parts are built in one automobile, and it is necessary for the mother country to produce minimum 60% of all parts in order for the vehicle to become national.
