"Robne kuće Beograd" - the only company from Southeast Europe at biggest European investment fair in Cannes

The only participant from the region of Southeast Europe in the largest European investment and retail real estate fair MAPIC, which will be held between November 18 and 20 in Cannes, is "Robne kuće Beograd" (Department Stores Beograd), which will present for the first time its new concept of work and potentials of the network of trade centers at total surface of over 240,000 square meters to the international public and potential partners.

This modernization project, in which the owners of "Robne kuće Beograd" – Greek "Marfin Investment Group" (MIG) and "Verano", invested over 80m EUR, is currently the only active investment in the sector of retail real estates in Southeast Europe, and it is also the project that, due to its value and commercial and public significance, puts Serbia at the top of international business attention in that field.

Thanks to its national network and the best locations all around Serbia and Montenegro, company "Robne kuće Beograd" provides its potential partners with the immediate access to the market with about 8m consumers and opens the door to the east of Europe. Having in mind not only the size of the investment, but also the commercial and public significance of reactivation of the facilities of "Robne kuće Beograd", as well as the fact that there is no similar project anywhere in Europe, the expert committee of the trade fair in Cannes has decided to present it to the international public at a special session, which will be held on Friday, November 20th.

"Robne kuće Beograd" will use the participation in trade fair MAPIC in Cannes to establish cooperation with some of the world's largest trade companies from different fields and bring them to the market of Serbia, in accordance with the business plans for year 2010.
