SIEPA started "Month of Export" campaign - awards for best exporters on December 7th

- The Investment and Export Promotion Agency of Serbia (SIEPA) presented the "Month of Export" campaign, which will be conducted during November and followed by traditional Export Awards Ceremony for year 2009 - SIEPA announced.

The campaign was launched with the announcement of the open competition for "Exporter of the Year Award", and the deadline for submission of applications is December 1st.

The campaign will include a meeting in Belgrade on November 18th between minimum 50 local companies and 15 German and Austrian companies that seek suppliers in Serbia from the sectors of metal processing, plastics, mechanical processing, electronics and similar industries.

In association with Japanese Trade Organization (JETRO), "reverse trade fair" for Hungarian and Serbian exporters will be organized in Budapest on November 19th. On that occasion, 12 Japanese companies that intend to buy goods from local companies will exhibit their products. The plan is that minimum 20 suppliers from Serbia participate in that event in Hungary.

"Month of Export" will end on December 7th with the Exporter of the Year 2009 Awards Ceremony, which will take place at 11 AM in the City Assembly of Belgrade.

Just like in the previous years, the awards are granted in four categories - exporter of the year, best export product, penetration of new market, and best exporter in category of small and mid-sized enterprises.

Volksbank in Serbia will grant 15,000 EUR for improvement of export activities to the best exporter in the category of small and mid-sized enterprises, company "DHL International" in Belgrade will reward the winner in the Penetration of New Market category with the services worth 15,000 EUR, while "Orange studio" will design a marketing campaign worth 15,000 EUR for the best export product. This year's official partner of the event is company "Mikroelektronika".
