"Carnex" in Russian market - meat products in Moscow region

Company "Carnex" has started exporting its products to the market of Russian Federation. Liver pate, tea pate, pate with vegetables, pate with ham and sliced meat are the products that will soon be at the shelves of retail stores in Moscow, the region of Moscow and Russian provinces.

"From the moment the opportunity emerged for Serbian manufacturers, food industry in particular, to export their products free of duty, according to the Free Trade Agreement between Serbia and Russian Federation, the efforts of company "Carnex" were focused on finding the partner in that market", it is stated in the company's announcement.

At the same time, in addition to ISO 9001:2000 and HACCP food safety certificates, "Carnex" also included hygiene-sanitary certificate and GOST R certificate in its quality management system. These certificates represent the valid quality system and the condition for export and sale of products in the market of Russian Federation.

- The prejudice that you can sell anything in Russia, regardless of quality, was proved wrong long time ago. During the period of economic isolation, Serbia lost much in Russian market. The positions of the companies from Serbia were taken by the companies from other countries. Today the rate of growth and development of economy of Russian Federation is one of the biggest in the world. We have come to the conclusion that Russia is the country that cherishes high level of competition and the struggle between competitors, but it also represents a very suitable territory for development of business. Company "Carnex" has spent much time studying the market of Russia and looking for potential partners, and the result of all these activities is the agreement on distribution of our products, which we have reached with the company that operates in that market for more than 16 years – said Branka Dulović, the Deputy Director General for Commercial Affairs in "Carnex".

The process for obtaining GOST R certificate for the market of Belarus is in progress, which represents opening of the door of a new big market and another development chance and opportunity for expansion of export in the forthcoming period.
