Export activities of Kraljevo-based "Amiga" - semaphores and public lighting poles in Greece, Angola, Netherlands and Denmark


Company "Amiga", the leader in production of all types of public lighting poles, has been exporting its products to Greece and Angola over the last few months. The first samples of poles were sent to Luxembourg and Denmark at the beginning of September, while the export to Russia and Netherlands is in the pipeline. That is, mainly, the export of public lighting poles, semaphores and portals.
The aim of company "Amiga" is to implement 30% of export projects in 2009. According to the people from the company, the export activities are focused on the markets of former SFRY and European countries.
They have established cooperation with company "Biomek" from Athens and signed contracts on export of not only ready-made poles, but also semi-finished products, that is, complete poles without surface protection in so-called black variant. During the last few months, over 2,000 poles and conic tubes have been exported to Greece.
Export to Angola is realized through company "Vlatacom" from Belgrade, which has signed the contract for installation of poles and semaphores on more than 200 crossroads in Luanda, the capital of Angola.
- Our company has produced and exported over 1,540 poles of various types for the project in Luanda. We have also made a special type of packaging for container and ship transportation - said the people from the Kraljevo-based company.
Export to Netherlands is organized in association with company "Schoonebeek". The company from Kraljevo supplies the Dutch company with semi-finished products, that is, conic, round and multiangular tubes in black variant. Since July 2008, when the export to that market was started, the company has exported over 2,200 conic tubes.
With the aim of greater presence of "Amiga" products in the markets of European countries, the first samples of poles were sent to Luxembourg and Denmark at the beginning of September 2009.
