Total of 200,000 CHF for expansion and refurbishment of hospital in Požega

City hospital in Požega will soon be expanded and refurbished. The aim of the project is improvement of secondary health care in the municipality, and the funds for its realization will be provided by the municipality and the Government of Switzerland through Kraljevo-based company MSP.

Introduction of heating system, works on infrastructure and organization of area in front of the hospital are parts of the project in which 200,000 CHF will be invested. The plan is that the construction lasts for the next two years, and the contractors will be selected the next week, after the second tender is closed.

- The first tender was unsuccessful, so that we had to announce the new one. The Directorate for Development of Požega will be the supervisory organ no matter which company is selected on the tender - Ivana Inđić, a member of Požega's Municipal Council for Local Development, told "eKapija".

At the same time, the municipality of Požega will be collecting the funds for completion of the works on the sports hall.

- Since the hall currently has no heating, mechanical installations are necessary. We have just applied for the funds of the Ministry of Youth and Sport for that purpose - says Inđić and adds that even the construction in phases would suit them.
