Novi Sad resumed negotiations with companies "Ikea" and "Siemens"

- The negotiations with the investors who were interested in investments in Novi Sad have been resumed after an eight-month break. It is expected that the contracts with some of them will be signed in 2010 – Mayor Igor Pavličić told "Dnevnik".

Pavličić confirmed that intensive negotiations were led with companies "Siemens" and "Ikea".

- We are going to reach central agreement in the negotiations with "Ikea", which will concern Novi Sad, Niš and Belgrade – said Pavličić. He did not want to mention the locations that had drawn the attention of the famous furniture manufacturer.

The interest of company "Siemens" has also been confirmed by Živko Makarić, the City Council member who is in charge of finance. According to him, these negotiations are likely to end in success since mutual interests definitely exist.
