Enegroprojekt Entel signed contract worth 18.8 million USD

Energoprojekt’s consulting company Entel, together with German partner – company Fischner from Stuttgart, signed the contract worth 18.8 million USD with the investor from United Arab Emirates - DEWA.

The subject of the contract are consulting services that will be carried out by local and German company for investor of construction of the biggest energy project in Emirates – the unique factory for production of electric power and water obtained from desalinization of sea water.

Total value of the investment is about 2 billion USD. Besides, the unit for production of electricity has capacities of up to 2,000 MW – bigger than Obrenovac B. The units for production of 12,000 cubic meters of water per hour will be built in the first phase, whereas in the second, final phase, total of 20,000 cubic meters of water per hour will be produced.

Together with German partner Fischner, Entel is shortlisted for big consulting job in Qatar.

It is the construction of network for transfer of electric power in that country – substations and long-distance power lines - and its worth is 700 million USD. The contractors are Siemens and ABB.
