Monetary Policy Committee of the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) yesterday reduced (November 5, 2009.) reference interest rate by one percentage point - at 10% per year.
Reference rate previously by one percentage point decreased on 8th October (to 11%) and on 10th July (to 12%).
NBS reference interest rate used as the interest rate on two-weeks repo operations. The repo operations NBS sells securities with the obligation to buy at a certain time with interest.
