New Address for Obtaining Information on Exports to the EU - the European Network of Entrepreneurship Promotion in Serbia

Businessmen from Serbia who want to get more information about exporting products to the EU market, as well as opportunities to connect with some European partners may also contact the European Network of Entrepreneurship in Serbia, said the project manager Mr. Aleksandar Arsic.

On the presentation of the European Network, a project whose activities in Serbia, funded by the European Commission, which implemented state institutions such as the Republic Agency for Development of Small and Medium Enterprises and Universities in Serbia, said that it is a project that enables convergence of small and medium-sized enterprises and entrepreneurs and scientific research organizations from Serbia EU market.

According to him, every entrepreneur who is interested in doing business in the EU may be specific issues with this process online and in a very short time get an answer to the question. For example, if someone from entrepreneurs interested in exporting to specific countries, and the interest it tax regulation, through information exchange with colleagues from the European network in the country can get the appropriate information.

He said that the European Network provides companies interested in innovation, knowledge transfer and technology, connecting with institututima and scientific organizations in Europe, whose experts can come to the firm and assist in their implementation. Also, it is possible to get more information about the possibility of participating in international tenders.

More information about this project, which is already included about thirty companies from Serbia, can be obtained on-site www.een srbija.rs, said during the presentation. The presentation was attended by dozens of businessmen who are presented and steps in introducing HACCP quality.

Director of the Agency for Small and Medium Enterprises, Mr. Goran Džafić said that the state until March 2010th expected to announce a competition for companies that want to introduce the necessary standards, and which the state can reimburse 50% of the cost.

According to him, presently the introduction of HACCP standards (security certificate process of food production), depending on the size of the company and business scope of the small and medium enterprises and costs from 2,000 to 14,000 euros.

The European Union devotes great attention to small and medium enterprises that make up 99 percent of all enterprises in the EU, namely in the sector operates 23 million SMEs in them for 75 million people.
