Unit for production of concrete railway ties opened in factory "MIN DIV" in Svrljig - investment worth 7m EUR

The Minister of National Investment Plan in the Government of Serbia, Verica Kalanović, put in operation yesterday (November 4, 2009) the unit for production of concrete ties for railway tracks in the factory of bolts and parts for railway vehicles "MIN DIV" in Svrljig.

About 7m EUR has been invested in the new unit that will be producing about 500,000 concrete ties per year. Most of these ties will be exported, and the new unit will employ about 30 workers.
